Swag of the Day: Herban and H2V Products
Last month I had my skin analyzed at Burke Williams spa. The skincare specialist saw lots of “congestion” in my chin area, indeed, I’ve been breaking out there like a 16-year-old lately. She recommended that I exfoliate twice a week, and follow that with a moisturizing mask.
Luckily, I had an exfoliating product sitting around in a swag bag from another recent event, and I came home from Burke Williams that day with a hydration mask. I’ve been using them on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and I daresay that my skin is clearing up and looking less dry.
Herban Body Care Sugar Mud Facial Exfoliant: It’s literally made with sugar and coconut butter, so after you massage it into your skin it melts away. It feels great. Caveat – it really looks like mud so be careful to wipe off your arms when you’re done, otherwise you’ll look like you’ve been splashing in puddles in the backyard.
H2V Skincare Tightening Hydration Masque, available only at Burke Williams locations: This is a thin, light, translucent orange-colored mask that has pumpkin puree in it. It feels great on my skin. I leave it on for 15 minutes and then just wipe off with a warm washcloth. It smells good, too, and it goes on clear so you don’t look like a scary alien while it’s on your face.
