Open Sky – How Bad Can It Be?
I like the idea of making a little bit more money off this blog without trying too hard or shoving ads in your face. As long-time readers know I’ve been dragged kicking and screaming into putting ads on this blog at all. But longtime readers also know things like I am a pool whore and I can be bought. So there it is. (By the way, do you have a pool? I’ll be your friend…)
You may have noticed a mysterious countdown clock in my right sidebar. That, my friends, is a countdown to the day that my Open Sky shop opens. That will be my virtual store, where I will sell items through a link here or directly on my Open Sky page. I decided to try this because Ted Rubin of e.l.f. cosmetics, that warm fuzzy business guru, is behind Open Sky so it can’t be a bad thing, can it?
Stay tuned to see what kinds of things I’ll be selling in my shop – they will only be things I like and companies that I would buy from anyway. If you find something you love this way, huzzah. If I make a little money too, amen. If it all goes south I have no obligation and I can just pull it down, but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
I’m just as curious as you are.
