My first week of full time work is over, and the next looms before me just over 12 hours. I am adjusting to the lack of time at home. Like I said below, so far so good. Here’s the thing, though. I wore all of my “good” outfits last week. How do I follow up without going shopping again? Not only do I not have endless money, but I don’t have a lot of time for that. Help me East Coasters who are reading this at work! I’ll check for comments before I get dressed. SERIOUSLY WTF SHOULD I WEAR?!

Ah well, too late for today maybe but… can’t you rearrange your outfits from week 1? Mix up the match ups?
Don’t listen to me anyway, today I didn’t blow dry my hair (ponytail), didn’t put on makeup, and threw on jeans and a wrinkled sweater.
But your kids look happy and so big!

So the new work clothes. Can you mix and match stuff? Pull in an older shirt to go w/ your new pants or vice versa. Honestly, I get the most miles out of my clothes b/c I swap them in and out with different tops and such. I seriously have a brown skirt I probably wear twice a week but doubt anyone can tell b/c a totally different shirt makes it look like a whole new outfit.
Also, different accessories? That changes the look of things. And, my new favorite layering trick is to wear a basic skirt, basic shirt but have a bright colored tank or tee underneath that adds just a drop of fun color. Makes it easier then swaping in and out bright colored shirts all the time, I think.
