Dear Lisa,
Remember how much I was stressing about losing weight? As you were losing weight and I was gaining it, it was nice of you to give me your old “fat” clothes. In fact I still wear those Not Your Daughter’s Jeans jeans, but in the last year and half they got sort of tight, and I was all “This sucks! I’m losing weight NOW.” And then I started working with a trainer and then my back went out and that plan went to hell.
Well, in the last three weeks my weight has melted off and this morning I saw digits on the scale that I haven’t seen in seven years.
And I’m not even happy about it.

Hugs Kim – Sounds like stress/grief induced weight loss. Be good to yourself. Give yourself time.
“Goal weight is a personal milestone that reflects a combination of health, fitness, and self-care. It’s important to remember that it’s not just about the number on the scale, but how you feel physically and mentally as you work toward your goals.”
