I haven’t posted a belly shot for a while, so if you’re yearning for a comparison, check out my post from January 29. I was about 28.5 weeks pregnant there.
This morning while I was painting in the hallway (yes, I’m painting, but just little spaces, and it’s well-ventilated, and I’m wearing protective gloves and such) my belly turned on the lights. All by itself, without me asking it to, or even thinking about turning on the lights.
My belly catches crumbs, and dribbled toothpaste, and errants sips of liquids. It hugs Stewart before I can hug him. It serves as a shelf for me to rest my drinks or plate on.
My belly has a life of its own. It is no longer associated with my BABY, who squirms around inside like an octupus with razors on the ends of its tentacles. Don’t tell Stewart I said that. He might think I’m jinxing the baby into have more than the necessary number of limbs.
Stay tuned for more adventures from Baby Class. We have our fourth session tonight.

Hi, They don’t always let me say as much as I would like. I’ve had you on my mind and this website is so cool. You certainly do look like you are going to give birth and soon. Hope things are going well. The child birth classes are enough to make you regret the whole decision to have a child. I’ll keep reading and then I will know when you go into labor.
Baby Belly!! Yay!! So soon……
🙂
Look at that! No stretch marks!
I’m so excited. I hope Baby Prince waits till I get there to make his appearance.
