1. You! My blogging community. Would I be sane today without you? I’m guessing no.
2. Ice cubes in a bin. I love reaching into my freezer and grabbing a handful of ice for my glass of water. It makes water more fun to drink, and therefore more likely to be drunk by me. I only put my ice in a bin during the summer. Why do I not do this year round? I do not know.
3. Music. See below.
4. Peaches! It’s almost the peak of stone fruit season and I can’t wait. Farmer’s market, here I come.
5. My husband. The man is working hard. He comes home sagging, covered in grease, every day. This Sunday is our 6th wedding anniversary. We are going to celebrate by taking the kids to a tropical celebration at our local Kids’ Club.
6. My 2004 Old Navy flip flops. They’re the retro rainbow ribbon style. They’re filthy and old and beat up but nothing is more comfortable on my feet. Not even Crocs. Yeah, I said it. I wear flip flops from the day it’s warm enough until the day it seems uncouth to show my toes in public. And even then sometimes I don’t care. This I will miss when we leave SoCal.
7. Yoga. I haven’t practiced yoga regularly since before I had Brady. I’ve developed a strange pain in my hands and wrists that I think I might need to show a doctor. Yesterday I did a few tentative sun salutations, and today my shoulders are sore.
8. The idea that by not drinking alcohol during the week and stopping eating 2 hours before bedtime made me lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks. What I hate: the reversal of those methods put the pounds back right back on. I’m working on adopting them again. So far I’ve gone 24 whole hours without a cocktail!
9. My mom. She stayed with my sister, Laura, for a whole week to help her and Jeff take care of baby Dominick. (Today was Laura’s first day as a SAHM. Let’s welcome her to the club, however temporary her membership may be.)
10. New item: Sandra Tsing Loh’s Scandalously Informal Guide to Los Angeles Schools.

What a great photo of the three of you!
What happened to Kyle and Brady? They fell completely off the list!!!
Was this a tag of some sort?
update…I did NOT see the beach picture when I first looked at this post. Of Course Kyle and Brady are on your top ten list!
I love that Stew comes after peaches. I do realize it didn’t say Ten Things I Love In Order of Importance!!
I also love my blogging community… of which you are a part. You have left so many kind comments on my blog over the – ?- years??? For me it would be mangos and Crocs flip-flops. Which, in Florida, there are about 3 days per year when it is too cold for flip flops. Oh, and I will only drink my water with ice filling the glass and then water on top of it – super cold. Love my automatic ice maker for that!
Crocs FLIP-FLOPS?! Is that like the marriage of comfort and comfort? I MUST TRY THESE.
Where do we find Croc Flip Flops?
Croc flip flops are at Bob’s.
I noticed the lack of 2 boys names from your list too.
