Over on my column at Roost’s Bird’s Eye View blog I tell the story of how my friend Karen, who is a home stager, helped me ready our house for showing to prospective buyers. Karen’s work is fascinating, and it suits her more perfectly than I’ve ever seen a profession suit a person.
If you’ve ever been to my house, you know that it took a lot of work to get it looking like this. A big shout out to Karen, without whom the place may not have sold within a week. And thanks to my Mom(HOP) and Dad, who helped me implement Karen’s instructions and we had the place turned around in a day!
NB: in the article, “unmentionables” and “private materials” really mean “S&M gear.”
