So, it’s suddenly summer, and shorts weather, around the House of Prince. Also known as thighs-stick-to-the-desk-chair weather, which is why I am avoiding sitting here. I just put a pillow under my arse to avoid the stick. Bleah.
I took a tip from a fellow blogger (good God, I cannot remember which one, since I’ve been surfing so much from my office desk lately and discovering new blogs left and right) and suggested to Stewart that he fill the empty sandbox (empty because a cat PEED in the sand!) with water Friday afternoon to entertain our wily son. Good move – they both had a blast and my the time I got home Stewart was changing Kyle into dry clothes. We headed out to dinner, because the idea of cooking something in our hot house was no fun, indeed.
Saturday morning we were all frolicking about in the backyard when Kyle toddled over to the sandbox, removed the cover, and climbed right into the soapy (???) water, pajamas, diaper and all. Instead of screaming, I ran and got the camera.
Apparently Kyle had plopped the bubble machine into the water the day before. He has figured out how to turn it on, so in the “pool,” the machine churns out an ever growing mountain of suds. An engineer’s son he is.

He is so smart!
So where are the pictures? I can’t see them. Am I blind, browser deficient, or are you holding out on us?
Love the bubble machine in the sand box/ mini pool- and mini pool was just what was needed this weekend as it was too hot to stay dry.
Son of an engineer he is… We need to get together soon.
Now you know what to do if he ever doesn’t want to take a bath!
