It’s Tuesday, so nothing much.
-I’m on Five Star Friday’s Intrepid Tuesday, promoting myself, and thus, Charlie.
-I’m looking forward to a day at the beach with Auntie Katie. (beware, her latest post is something political, and by no means do I intend to smite you with politics, just putting out Link Love)
-I’ve been taking Brady to My Gym classes so he can climb, run, bounce, and toddle to his heart’s content. It’s fun to watch him, but it costs a pretty penny.
-My chronicle of life with car seats is up on The Mommy Times. It’s quite a good read, if I must say so myself, even for people who are not in the market for a new car seat. If you are a person who has installed and wrestled with a car seat, you will understand.
-Here’s a blog I recently discovered and love and would like to be like. Girl’s got dinner HANDLED.
-I owe you (meaning my conscience) a post about Convict Lake Resort and our weekend there. Like any travel post, it will take me hours to write which I don’t have now and may not for a while. In the meantime, here are some pics:
So reading your article on the mommy times kind of stressed me out. We have a britax (registered for it after Tina advised us to) for later…I think it is for the next stage up but now I have no idea what the heck it is for and I’m all confused about this whole forty pounds, facing forward thing! I better go check…..
Man. I had the Graco everyone else did, then randomly got a mid-grade upright with cup holders that matched my car, and now we have the $20 booster with no back. I feel like I am a horribly unsafe mom, but it said it meets his height and weight requirements (and my mom lost the safety part for the strappy REAL car seat, the little metal piece that holds the seat belt tight when you DON”T have latch….oh, well. I better just drive safely….
