Give Diapers Instead of Toys For Tots

This Christmas season you may be tempted to buy new toys for needy children and drop them in the gaily decorated boxes at the fire station, the mall, the grocery store, your kid’s school, etc. Of course those children will love the new toys. Of course you should give them. But have you considered diapers, instead? If a young child is sitting in a dirty pullup or a plastic grocery bag, so you think she will be happy if someone gives her a toy? Maybe. While she’s waiting in line at the emergency room to be treated for a severe infection caused by prolonged diaper rash.
