Expressing Motherhood Los Angeles Will Collect Diapers

January 19, 2011 Kim Tracy Prince Leave a Comment

Amazing stories read by engaging women on a stage.  That’s what “Expressing Motherhood” is, in a show that occurs in several cities across the country every year.  The performers are selected based on their writing about being a mother – the good, bad, and ugly – in humorous or heartbreaking fashion.

The Los Angeles performances of “Expressing Motherhood” are coming up this weekend and next, and the producers contacted us because they want to Help a Mother Out.  They will be accepting donations of disposable diapers in drop bins at the theater during all of their shows.

So, buy some tickets online, enjoy wine and treats from a local food truck, and sit back and laugh and cry.  Drop some diapers in the box on your way in, and you’ll score some karma points too.  A perfect night out.

Expressing Motherhood:  Jan. 21-23 and Jan. 28-30 at the Lillian Theater, 1076 N. Lillian Way, Hollywood, CA 90038, 323-939-9220
