Yogurtland’s Flavor Quest For International Treats

Yogurtland brings back its Flavor Quest event with nine limited-time yogurt flavors and three new toppings, now through June 1.

A new flavor launches each week and will be available for two weeks

–        Indonesian Chocolate Java Cake

–        English Toffee

–        Thailand Mango Coconut Tart – this was available when I visited but only blended with a different flavor. Still, I could taste its refreshing coconutty sweetness!

–        Austrian Apple Strudel with Caramel

–        Middle Eastern Fig & Honey Gelato

–        Mexican Horchata

–        Argentinian Dulce De Leche Cookie

–        New Zealand Kiwi Raspberry Sorbet

–        American Peanut Butter Parfait

I took a bunch of boys to the Yogurtland in Westlake Village (at Westlake and Thousand Oaks Boulevards) to try some of these new flavors out. The boys went for straight up chocolate, but I was feeling more adventurous. I was on a quest, of course!

I made my Yogurtland creation with Austrian Apple Strudel with Caramel, topped with 2 of the three new toppings: creamy Venetian Chocolate Truffles, and French Galette cookies (there will also be shortbread cookies).

The truffles, to be honest, should really be enjoyed on their own – they were amazing. But the French galettes were a perfect accompaniment to the sweet yogurt, making this really taste like apple strudel!

Coincidentally, it was my son’s birthday, so we snuck a candle into the yogurt and sang to him!

I am looking forward to going back and having the Middle Eastern Fig & Honey Gelato, which apparently arrived late last week. Check out their Facebook page for announcements about each new flavor.

All of Yogurtland’s flavors meet the National Yogurt Association Criteria for “live and active culture frozen yogurt” and are produced in a kosher-certified facility. Yogurtland features non-fat and low-fat yogurt flavors as well as non-dairy and no sugar added choices while using milk that does not contain antibiotics or added hormones.
