Today is Stewart’s birthday. But what’s more exciting than that is the present I bought (myself) him – a Canon Rebel XT Digital Camera. It’s a pretty silver with a pop up flash and a 18-55mm lens. No shutter delay. It takes great indoor shots in a snap. Of course he just opened it up, got all excited, and then put it aside for ME to set up and since I had to go to work I didn’t have time to play with it so you’ll have to wait until tonight or tomorrow for our debut shots. I hope they live up to all the hype I just stirred up. I can’t wait to participate in OddMix’s photo contest!
Oh you will soooo totally love that new camera. I debated a long time between that and the Nikon D50 I ended up getting. It was very close between the two.

And I am jealous of you living in Southern Cal, even if it is hot. It’s hot here too today and we don’t have cool places like South Coast Plaza or the Irvine Spectrum. Or all the bazillion other places there I love.
