Nurse Mom

Apparently strep throat is going around and the only way I know that is through Twitter.  I knew social media was infectious, but this is ridiculous.

I’m in the trenches of the grim part of parenthood – three sleepless nights in a row, two whiny smelly kids who won’t eat and keep spiking high fevers, making me alternately worried about them and exasperated by them.

We’re off to the doctor, who said, after their checkups in April, “I hope I don’t see you until next year!”

I think she jinxed us.
