Valentine Factory

February 24, 2011 Kim Tracy Prince 3 Comments

Kyle wanted to make his own Valentine cards for his classmates.  At first he told me I would be making them, but I corrected him.  This is his party, man, and I’m not doing the work that I know he can do.  Just look at that handwriting!

I did get hoodwinked into drawing the heart half-shapes on folded paper, but that wasn’t so bad.  And then I watched as, unlike the way he does with other projects, he focused in on this production and didn’t stop until he had made Valentines for all of the children in his class, plus his teacher.

And now he wants a heart-themed birthday party.  I’m trying to think of a way to make that more masculine…
