Here’s my latest crafty thing. It actually requires no crafting on my part – I have captive labor for that. But it’s so damn cute and simple that I am sure it’s not original, but I did think of it all by myself.
Kyle makes thank-you notes.
Every night I sit him at the table with a large pad of drawing paper and his So Big crayons. I encourage him to scribble away with several different colors. The next morning, I take the page, cut it into three sections, and turn each section into stationery.
It’s brilliant. Many of you will be receiving these notes in the mail. Kyle “dictates” what he wants me to write. I must translate into English, of course, so a lot of poetic license comes into play.
Like I said, I am sure I am not the first to come up with this idea, but since I did, every morning as I write out the notes I am so pleased with myself. I’ll take a photo and post it here soon. It’s been hard for me to post photos lately, not sure why.

Here’s a pat on the back for you! Crafty by proxy!
I love that idea. I want one
I need to get a kid.
that is SUCH a cute idea.
Can you remind me of that one day when I have a toddler?
Great idea. I may borrow it when Jackson stops eating crayons.

Now even Kyle is better then me when it comes to writing thank you notes.
Very cute! My school does a fundraiser every year where the kids create larger versions of what is then turned into notecards. I always say that when I have a child I’m going to make them participate!
