I just had to share Captain Elmo. See what I mean about the many many presents?
Re: posting photos. The Picasa/Hello function has been disabled and my ability to upload photos from within Blogger Dashboard has always been sketchy at best. When I have some more time, I must try to find another way. Please, don’t make me switch to the new Blogger. Jay at Cynical Bastard chronicled his switch and it really looks like a giant pain in the rear.
Speaking of pains in the rear, yesterday around 5:30 I spoke with Stew who had just picked up Kyle, who was crying and having difficulty walking. DayLady told Stew that he had been that way for a little while. My mind raced and I remembered that morning Kyle had started another round of really bad diaper rash, so I told Stewart and sure enough, that’s what it was. Poor Kyle’s butt hurt so bad he couldn’t walk! By the time I got home, Daddy and kid were snuggled on the couch watching a video – Kyle face down with his butt in the air. Poor baby.
OK, I made the switch to beta a while back and I thought it was easy and very worth it, which made me wonder why it was so difficult for Jay at Cynical Bastard. So I went to his blog and scrolled back until I found the post… and it was a big let down. That’s it? Really, the only problem I’ve found is the whole not keeping you signed in thing, even though each and every time I check “remember me”. I guess I’m not that memorable.
I remember that he said he lost all of his links and formatting – and with my new banner, I am scared to lose all that because I’m not sure how to get it back!
If you’re having trouble with pictures you can also use a photo hosting site like photobucket. It’s very easy to use.
Poor baby. hope he is feeling better. Nice Christmas bundle.
Zoe gets TERRIBLE diaper rashes and the only thing that cures it is (Dr. recommended) plain old Lotrimin. It’s great – goes away overnight. Apply lotrimin, then desitin on top, and then — i’m sure your doc told you — apply baby powder with cornstartch. When it goes away, use desitin & powder on every diaper change and it’ll help a lot. She still gets it, but less frequently since we started this routine.
Triple Paste. We swear by it. Does not sting. If it is not in the baby aisle, ask the pharmacist. Jacks had horrible diaper rash Wednesday AM, and it is gone today. Good luck. Love the Elmo!!
hope he is feeling better!
Flickr works really good for photo hosting as well and easy to use with blogs.
Poor Kyle!
We use Burt’s Bees diaper ointment and Baby Moon Booty Balm if Buddy has a red bottom.
