From now on I will make sure I only post photos in which I look really really good. I’m loving your compliments. Please be assured that for every flattering photo of me that exist, there are 10 really hideous ones!
Today Brady is 2 weeks and 2 days old. We are going to the pediatrician in a little while to see if he’s reached his birth weight again (he lost about 7 ounces while waiting for my milk to come in). He is eating well and often, which means I don’t get much sleep at night, and I’m not getting very long naps but that’s my own fault.
Kyle is acting predictably obnoxious at times. This morning he scratched me on the chest, if for no other reason than to demonstrate what “Scratch!” means. He runs around the house calling out “Daddy? Daddy? Daddy?” if Stewart leaves his sight for a millisecond. He whines for any reason. I can’t tell if this is all because of the baby, the disruption in his schedule, or just because he’s 2.
Stewart is a wonderful support. He seems to have infinite patience with the chaos in the House of Prince. Whereas I, on the other hand, cannot deal with clutter, the pileup of laundry, and the whining. And the dog. And the cat. And the cleaning lady and the gardeners and the disability bureaucrats and the insurance bills and stupid people and the accountant and…
Okay, I’ll stop. But you get the picture. I must keep using my mantra: “I am grateful that I have a loving family and 2 healthy children.” Over and over. Because it’s true.
Kimmy –
Hang in there. Amazingly, Jackson is acting the exact same way as Kyle, only substitute “scratch” for bite. Must be the age.
It will be okay…..

Breathe in. Breathe out. All is well.
Oh, and it’s because of the baby. The disruption of the schedule. Aaaannnnd because he’s 2.
I’m worried about how LA Toddler is going to handle our new arrival in November.
Look on the bright side! At least you have a party to attend on the 2nd. You know, to get away from it all for a while? 🙂

You are one AMAZING mama!
Keep on truckin’ mama of two.
I love all the photos you’ve posted (and yes, you’re a total hottie) and think your mantra is perfect.
