There’s some bad stuff going down with some friends of ours – a marriage in trouble, a baby involved. Across the street from us, our neighbors are taking in their daughter and granddaughter who are leaving the daddy, a court order involved. People don’t make it together more often than they do make it.
Last night I held onto Stewart a little bit longer before I passed out and thanked him for being a good man and dealing with me.
“I like the way you are,” he said.
That’s good enough for me.
