How to make an Easter basket, the lazy mom way:
1. Attend an endless string of Easter parties at school, playdates, and parks
2. Collect plastic Easter eggs filled with candy or cheap plastic trinkets
3. Come home with goodie bags full of more candy
4. When kids are not looking, hide #2 and #3 in a bag in the cabinet until the night before Easter, and hope they forget about them
5. On the night before Easter, dump contents of #4 into last year’s slightly bent Easter basket
6. Hide some of the plastic eggs in obvious places
7. On Easter morning, loudly announce “Looks like the Easter bunny came!”
8. Drink some coffee
DONE.
now just republish as “The Frugal Mom’s…” and you have a twofer.
AHAHAH!! I love it…and am writing it down.
The only think that could make this better, is changing the word ‘coffee’ to ‘Colt 45.’
Now why didn’t I think of that? Genius! 🙂
