After days of being strung along by those wily teasers at CBS, I’ve been told that my news story airs tonight at 6:30. That’s Thursday, July 17. Please tune in and come here and comment to tell me that I don’t look fat, I sound intelligent, and my family is well-behaved. Oh, and that my house looks clean. Even if you have to lie.
I won’t be able to read your comments until late tonight or tomorrow morning anyway, because when Stew goes to work I will be off the grid. Our technical difficulties here at HOP now extend so far that without this laptop, I have NO INTERNET SERVICE. I might have to actually go to the (gasp) library to log on. If I get desperate enough. That’s kind of like taking the city bus, at least around here.
Okay. It is 7:57pm as I am reading this. So I am totally upset that I missed it… anyway you can get a video clip of it and put it up here?
I missed it, too, but I just watched it online. Interesting little sound bites – in one they even kind of made you sound like a gold digger! But they put a decent shot of HOP on – yay for free advertising! I wonder if your hit count will go up now.
It was fun to see how tall Kyle really is and hear your voice – lower than I thought it would be. And nice smooch and wave there at the end – you totally looked like a 50s housewife minus the apron! 😉 I bet Anne would make you one if you really wanted one.

Laura told me you were going to be on – Monday – so I set my DVR – and NOTHING…today she and Dominick came for a swim, and she told me you would be on tonight – so of course – I forgot – so Becca and I watched on the computer – found your blog from the shot of your computer – Laura has been telling me a little about it. It’s exciting to know someone famous!!! Geeez – The Nightly News – I am impressed – BTW – I am sure Laura will be sending pics of the swimmer – he LOVED being in the water with daddy!! I missed the shot of him with Jeff’s sunglasses on – when he had them on he actually had his eyes wide open – taking in all the sites!
