It’s about time for another photo but I’m posting from work (only 2 weeks left, all decorum goes out the window – I’m also actually wearing SWEATPANTS at work, so you can see how that’s turning out) and I can;t seem to figure out how to post photos from here.

Anyway. The sweatpants are technically maternity pants, which is all I could muster up this morning. They don’t look half bad, actually – they are the whisper soft pants from Babystyle – the only full-price item I have ever purchased in my life. (Okay not really but it feels like it.) They are actually worth it. I don’t quite qualify for true maternity pants yet but I am feeling extra super bloated today. The nausea was starting to subside, and I was celebrating the idea of eating! Food! Without feeling sick! But this morning it came back with a vengeance and I tried to lay low while Kyle played for a bit before I got ready to go. Of course, he was extra demanding this morning, as if he knew I was feeling ill and wanted to make it worse. That isn’t possible, is it?

I’m also in the midst of getting ready for a weekend away. Tomorrow Stewart and I are driving up to Cambria and Hearst Castle, and Auntie Lisa will be staying with Kyle for one night. I want to have everything prepared for her – food, paper towels, chisel, bubble wrap, everything one needs to care for a toddler – and we managed to keep the house clean for a record 36 hours since the housekeeper was here last, but Tornado Kyle whipped through this morning and left a steaming wake of blocks, flashcards, newspaper, clothing, and little drops of milk. Looks like I’ll have a busy night.

*Snort* I share a fondness for bubble wrap with your KID. How bad is that? ๐Ÿ™‚
Enjoy your weekend! Rock on with the sweatpants.

    Have a great trip! ๐Ÿ™‚
You could try ginger tea for the nausea. Ginger is a great tummy tonic! Preggie Pops are fantastic for morning/all day sickness.

Lisa won’t care about the tornado. Play with Kyle, rest and enjoy your evening away….

It’s just amazing how destructive toddlers can be. They get ahold of everything and when they’re through with it they’ll just toss it aside. I’m glad I dont’ have any. LOL

Hope you’re feeling better. I want to know how you liked Hearst Castle. We go to LA every year to visit the in-laws and have been talking about making that our trip-within-a-trip (usually we go to Catalina Island for a few days).

Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend! I think I missed something – are you quitting work? (due to pregnancy?)

I love Cambria! Don’t forget to stop in San Louis Obisbo for some awesome scenery. Do you have another job lined up?

Those sweatpants sound fantastic… hopefully I’ll be asking you about them again in a few months! ๐Ÿ™‚
All Aunt Lisa needs is a nice big bed to crash in after caring for Kyle for the night. The rest she can do without! ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a fun weekend away!
