After last month’s kerfluffle over the renegade moms of the social media marketing world, it’s hard to believe Whitney, Renee, and I can even support the crazed traffic that our websites get from incensed stay-at-home dads and other non-traditional parent types.
And yet, we can.
And we’re at it again, poking fun at that ever-marginalized staple of a family diet: leftovers.
To be honest, most of our meals are leftovers, but in this video, see how crafty we can get. We even realized that we can start calling them “Brand New Meals” and nobody will know the difference, except maybe those razor sharp-social media guru dads. I’ll bet they can see right through us.
What’s your favorite thing to do with leftovers? Join the conversation over at Ragu’s Mom’s the Word on Dinner!

Great job, Kimmy!!! Just this AM I boiled a pot of pasta, and then opened my refrigerator to see what kind of pasta it was to become. There were 2 grilled chicken breasts, a variety of open cheese, and some partial things of vegetables. Pull them all out and chop them up, grab a can of cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup of milk, and you have what we call at our house, Chicken Pot Pie Pasta. It should be served with croissants, but I don’t think we have any, so may just be bread and butter. The best part is that Chris and pop it in the oven to bake while Jackson and I are at soccer, and we can come home to a nice hot meal, and give props to Chris for making us such a wonderful dinner. (I was ACTUALLY planning to do Raghu sauce, but it turns out I didn’t have any of our “normal” red sauce and pasta meats. And my men MUST have their meats!!!)
“my men MUST have their meats!!!”
Best line ever.
And for the record, just so you all know, Suzanne is one of the only people in the world who is allowed to call me “Kimmy.”
