We’re baaaack.
Three weeks of living with my parents, back in my hometown, with two children. So…much…blog fodder…too many posts!! You’ll have to stand by as I organize all the stories and photos. It could take a while.
The time change madness was not mitigated by the long stay, and we returned home to find that everyone’s schedule is totally off, and my breast milk supply seems to have lessened as well. This is a very sucky thing, since I tried really hard to keep up with pumping, eschewing formula as a stand-in for breast milk to the point that I would not leave Brady for a romp with my girlfriends unless there was enough pumped milk to cover my absence, prompting my father to ask “Is the event milkworthy?”
In response, I have taken to my bed with my baby and a blue notebook to chart our progress. I will only nurse him, read, and sleep when he sleeps, leaving only to get a snack, use the bathroom, or duh, read blogs. Because we haven’t figured out this whole new-fangled wireless thing – otherwise I would be reading them from a laptop in my bed. I have visions of myself sitting crosslegged on the bed in front of the computer, a la Elaine on Seinfeld, except without the wall of hair.

Milkworthy? Oh, that’s classic. Too much.
Glad you’re back. Let me know if you can’t figure out the wireless thing.
Welcome home. We missed you.
LOL at your dad! Glad you’re home, have missed your posts!
Milkworthy. Love it!
Have you tried fenugreek? Worked *too well* for my wife.
your dad is hysterical!
Glad you had a good visit home and made it back safe and sound.
Good luck and get that wireless up and running!
Welcome home! Can’t wait for the posts or the pictures!
