It has just come to my attention that this is Post Number 921. I am coming up on my thousandth post this year! That’s a lot of mind-spew on this blog, my friends.
Also, I just wanted to say that watching American Idol in real time sucks. But it’s a bonus for my blog, because here I am posting during a commercial.
More stats. Number of times I have been sick this year: 3. I got sick before our trip to CT. I got sick immediately after our trip to CT. And I just got sick again the other day, conveniently during the 2 days both kids were in daycare. Not so good for the old checking account, but good for me staying in bed all day trying to survive.
Lastly, thumbs down to Oprah (Come on. I’m not a syncophant.) for using her superworldwide fame to become an evangelist. I’ve had enough of the creepy new age pseudo Scientology. Also, her Big Give show is a) boring and b) totally hypocritical. Here’s a thousand bucks, give it to anyone you want. What, you gave it to THAT guy? You’re out.
And back to American Idol. I know they shamelessly cross-promote all of Fox’s other media products, but AGAH!!! Enough! Remind me to watch next week’s episode on THURSDAY.
