Small Victories

September 7, 2008 Kim Tracy Prince 6 Comments

Things to be thankful for when I am finished bitching and moaning about how hot and cranky and crampy I am:

1. My infuriated snit about the graffiti in my neighborhood led to me tabulating the list of tags, faxing it to a local graffiti-removal agency, and them coming and removing said graffiti from the neighborhood gradually over the last few days.

2. Brady can say more words. Unfortunately, one of them is “No!”

3. Kyle made it all the way through sports class today (it was T-ball), enabling us to go to Mr. Crazy’s Ice Cream Store as a family.

4. Both kids napped today and the overlapped for a 2-hour period. I cleared out my in-box. Finally!

5. Fifteen years after graduating from college, I purchased a frame for my diploma.

6. Stewart allowed me to sleep in until almost 8:00 this morning, occupying the boys on the other side of the house.

7. In other Stewart news, he is finally going to my chiropractor to ease the strain of 48 years of back pain.

8. Spaghetti.

8AM?! What a dream! You’ve got a good man! Tell me, how did that feel because I can’t remember what that’s like?!
