Also, the doctor was really excited about getting to examine my newborn very soon. Oh yeah, about that. I’m already 1.5 cm dilated and 70% effaced. I’m a walking time bomb, people. Wear protective covering on your shoes if you have to stand next to me.

Yikes, I guess we’ll get to meet peanut soon. I’ll bring my protective clothing when I come over today, but I have nothing to protect my poor feet. What to do? In med school, a friend wound up ditching a pair of shoes because of a similar accident and as I currently only have one pair of shoes that would be no good. SO, I am staying a good few feet away from at all times.
Any day now . . . how exciting! I know you have no idea who I am, as I don’t sign guestbooks very often (I know, not very polite!) I’m just lucky if I get a few minutes each day to catch up on everybody! Anyway, I have been reading your blog for awhile and I love hearing all about your silly, adorable, and PERFECT two year old, and I can’t wait to hear about your equally as perfect new bundle!
Have a great day!!
Ryan – the girl 🙂
So exciting!
oh boy…you’ll call right away if anything happens…right?
Exciting. Auntie Lisa advised me on your progress. 70% effaced is good, I think. I never got there, so it is weird for me to try to compare. While I don’t miss never pushing or feeling labor, I still feel like I missed out on some mommy right of passage. My c-section scar has been itching lately after a long time of not doing so, so maybe it is my make up thing.
Good luck!!!!!!
OOOOOHHHHH…. any old minute now!
Hi Kim and Family,
we would all love to see you with your newborn at our our new class, “Baby Village-Baby and Me” parent education class and support group at PregnaGym every Friday from 12:30pm-1:30pm to get and give support. When you feel the need to get out, come visit us. Kyle can hang with Lani in the front room for $3/hr while you attend class. YOu many see other second time moms from the Mommy Social group there too.
Love,
Erin and Corran
Oh I’m so excited for you!
Now that you’ve mentioned covering one’s shoes around you, I can’t help but think of the Sex & the City episode when Miranda’s water breaks all over Carrie’s fabulous new shoes. You’ve seen that episode right?
GOOD LUCK!
