Buyer’s Remorse

January 17, 2006 Kim Tracy Prince 5 Comments

In a fine example of “you get what you pay for,” I hate our new carpeting. It’s only 1 year old – no, less – and it is filthy. FILTHY. It looks like I rolled myself in dirt and then slithered along the hallway. Or like I dragged a corpse down the hall into each of the bedrooms. And who knows how many cricket legs are trapped in the bottom of the loops? I guess at Home Depot, “stain resistant” means “will attract dirt and hold on to it for life.”

Is it under warrantee/guarantee? It’s less than a year old so go back to the store and say “you lied!”

What?!? No pictures? We need pictures! The dragged-corpse analogy BEGS for visuals. Please!
(Listen to Mom and take the photos to Home Depot, too! Burst into hysterical tears. They hate that stuff.)

Listen to your mom, I have a Home Depot carpet issue too — you should have gotten a year warranty with it. Home Depot has been pretty good about honoring warranties on other stuff. Good luck.
