People Are Weird

September 22, 2008 Kim Tracy Prince 1 Comment

Fun things to say:

“People are weird” is a lyric from a song by David Tobocman on his album “Very Helpful Songs” for children. It’s a little-known but entertaining collection from a local musician, and he’s giving away a CD to a lucky reader over at Being Savvy San Fernando. Won’t you come check it out?

“You’re so great, Mama. I love you so much.” You should say this to your mother after she takes you to the mall and lets you spend the equivalent of $25 even though you don’t actually know what a dollar even is.

“You’re looking great, honey!” Say this to your wife after she goes for a morning walk every day for four weeks and attends a weekly yoga class, and still does not see a change in the scale’s reading, probably because she has ice cream for dessert every night or she helps herself to a third Trader Joe’s oatmeal raisin cookie during the workday.

Don’t forget it’s also fun to say: “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!”
