I was stomping around the house a little while ago (softly stomping, because Kyle was just down for a nap) in a fury because of what happened with my car. See below. And that made me think about all of the other things in my life/house that are not working. For example:
-Blue Cross still has not paid for my chiropractic care from early this year despite my hundreds of follow up phone calls.
-The blinds we ordered for the guest room/office have come with warped slats. Twice. They are currently at JC Penney “being fixed.”
-Our new yard, and thus our new gardener, sucks. We are killing it and starting over again.
-Our Dish Network receiver keeps overheating, rendering our satellite service useless.
-Our television has a funky connection, turning TV people into Oompa Loompas.
-I bought a paper shredder at Bed Bath and Beyond, brought it home, plugged it in, and…nothing. Had to return it.
-and on and on. It never ends.
I really could go on, but after stomping around a bit I had to go in and shush Kyle. He was so happy to see me that he calmed down right away and once I put the pacifier back in, he rolled over on his side and was quiet. And I realized that nothing is broken on Kyle. I don’t have to call customer service to get a replacement part. I don’t have to write an angry letter or talk to his supervisor. He is perfect, and then some. We are beyond fortunate. And that’s all that really matters.

I agree with you on that he is perfect.
Sorry to hear about your car and all the other broken crap. Same things here it sucks.

Time to sit in the baby pool with Kyle, oh somewhere around 2 -2:30, preferably just before naptime!

Babies give life a whole new perspective, don’t they?

Okay, here I am with the “better late than never” comment. I blame the kind of crap you’re experiencing on the planet Mercury. It’s retrograde right now which usually means all kinds of splatter from crap hitting that fan we all know and hate. So, you’re fine.
…now….when does Mercury go back direct? Never learned that bit of info.
