Ellen Pompeo helps out at LA Diaper Drive

Ellen Pompeo joined the Huggies Every Little Bottom program this week, and announced her involvement on The Ellen Degeneres Show, on Access Hollywood, at a diaper drive in New York City, and in a conference call with the Blog Ambassadors, including myself.  Far from being a snobby TV star, on the phone Ellen was as cute as a button, and very very articulate.  I guess that’s why she gets the big bucks.

My favorite thing she said was something like this “Becoming a mom, everything rips at your heart.  Your chest gets split wide open and you’ll carry the cross up the hill for any little baby.”

Word.  That’s exactly how I feel.  Exactly why I started working with Help a Mother Out (where you can find a genius post on how to get involved) and why I want to adopt an orphaned child someday and be an emergency foster parent and feed all the hungry children and save all the sick ones and…and…

Sigh.

I sat down to write about our conference call and remind you about how you can help.  But then I poked around the other Blog Ambassadors’ blogs, and 30 minutes later I’m still here at this paragraph.  I knew this would happen.  Now I have their words in my head.  They are all wonderful writers with pretty, pretty blogs and infectious personalities.  I can’t write it better than they did, so I’m going to take the lazy way out and link to them here.

Brittany of Mommy Words, whose blog is so pretty I want to cry.

Jessica McFadden of A Parent in Silver Spring, who went to NYC to work the room.

Heather Flett and Whitney Moss of Rookie Moms, who crack me up EVERY TIME.

Caroline Murphy of Smartypants Mama, who is, in fact, pretty darn smart.

Last but not least, Jenny Ingram of Jenny on the Spot, who is the only one who didn’t post about it before I did.  However, she has an amazing post about her visit to the Westside Baby diaper bank in Seattle, where all the action is.

Oh yeah, the disclosure:

As an official Blog Ambassador I am a selected social media partner for the Huggies Every Little Bottom program. I am compensated for my time as a consultant to the program. However, the content and thoughts shared in this post are my own.

Definitely consider that that you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be at
the web the simplest factor to remember of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed even as other folks think about issues that they just do not know about.

You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also outlined out the
entire thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal.
Will probably be again to get more. Thank you
