Conference Brain

Sunday night:

I’m back in Connecticut for the next two weeks.  I got here this morning after three days in New York City for the BlogHer 2012 Conference.  It was pretty rad, and I met lots of people and had lots of interesting, moving, and sweaty experiences, but Lord, I’m tired right now, so I’ll just leave you with this for the moment:

This is Heather King in the Serenity Suite during the last hour of service.  When I arrived at my shift there, I expected…well, serenity.  What I found was a circle of women laughing giddily about the most random things in the world.  Mostly, Canada.  And I thought that when Heather laughed, she was so beautiful.  I’m sure you’ll agree.

    She is beautiful. And we were giddy. And that hour may have been my favourite hour of the entire conference. So great to meet you!
