Stewart telling me that Kyle is “a terror” because he crawls so fast. While he told me this over the phone, Kyle was squawking away in the background.
Aunt Kathy babysitting tonight and loving it. She turned the light on in his room so she could watch him sleep. And she left I heard her telling my mother that she doesn’t want him to go.
Tuesday night my parents went out to dinner so Stewart, Kyle, and I enjoyed a nice little family evening playing on the living room floor. It had been a long time since the three of us were alone together. I was so happy.
Kyle’s first Christmas morning. He went straight for the shiny red bow on his Aunt Laura’s presents. He didn’t enjoy the wrapping paper as much as I had thought he would, but he did like looking at each new toy. He was so entertaining all day. We had Christmas dinner at my mom and dad’s house for the first time. It was chaos, but Kyle kept reminding me what it was all about.
“Walk the Line”
Christmas tree shopping. Dear readers, remind me to post those pictures. They’re blogworthy.
Dinner at Tina and Greg’s
Opening presents with Leanne, Elena, and their families.
Our reunion with Daddy at the airport. Kyle greeted Stewart with a look that said, “yeah, YOU’RE my daddy!”
Someone from Simi Valley keeps calling my phone and not leaving a message. It’s a faceoff. I keep not answering because I don’t recognize the number.
